Legacy Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine

Pregnancy can be a very stressful time and this can be even worse if you develop complications such as gestational diabetes or high blood pressure.  Even if you don't develop any complications, many questions come up about what is safe or not in pregnancy.  What fish can you eat?  What medications are safe if you have a fever, a cough, diarrhea?  Can you exercise in pregnancy and how much?  What if I have questions regarding breastfeeding whether you are still pregnant or recently delivered.  Therefore, we have listed some very reliable and hopefully, helpful websites that you can access to answer your questions.  If these don't satisfy you, please access the My Health link and fire off the question to one of our providers.  This should only be used for routine, non-emergent questions.  Anything that is concerning should be directed immediately to the clinic during routine office hours or to the on call physician during non-office hours.
