The front office staff is usually the first point of contact patients will have with our office and we couldn’t be happier about that. They are all very nice and helpful and quite good at multi-tasking. They are responsible for answering the phone to schedule appointments, transfer calls to a provider, put you in contact with nurse or someone in billing, or just simply answer a general question regarding your upcoming appointment. However, during the same time, they are also checking patients in and out of the clinic. So, if you call for an appointment and are asked to “please hold” this is because they are assisting patients who are physically at the desk.
Whether you are on the phone or are in person, the front office will work with you to schedule your appointment on a day and at a time that is most convenient for you. For those of you who have been here before, you understand this can be a very complex process. Trying to schedule multiple appointments on the same day (genetics, ultrasound, provider visit) takes time and patience but they are always up to the task!
